I first heard the word zaftig in an art history class, from a professor who used it to frequently to describe women in the art works he was teaching us about.  I finally looked zaftig up and discovered it was a terrific word and now use it frequently myself.

Although I hate to admit it, I don’t have a clue as to where I found the Hebrew (or is it the Yiddish?) spelling of zaftig.
